how to do i import gmod models

I would like to import my models from gmod, but all of the tutorials i have seen are for the legacy version of AA. I would like to know how to import gmod items (downloaded from the workshop, for clarification) if anybody knows how.

Importing models to Redux should work similarly to the existing tutorials for Legacy... Simply extract the Addon's GMA file using gmad and place the files in steamapps/common/Anarchy Arcade/aarcade/custom/.

I'm not familiar with Legacy as I do not currently have it, can someone explain how to do it to me, also gmad doesn't work for me for some reason
