1. GeForce 260 - Looks amazing and runs at 60 fps stable on max graphics. I'd post photos to show you but idk how on steam.
2. Same can be said about every other country (except Finland). If foreigners are so superior why are most of them bigots?
3. Actually, it's almost a whole year if you're smart, but we don't have to worry about that with you.
hahhahaha
true dat!
+1 on that. Ever since I came on Steam, my iRacing sub lapsed, never to be thought of again. I owned a lot of content too. It was good in its day, but AC and a couple more on here are prettier, cheaper and just as good if not better physics,
They were great pioneers but others have passed them by. The tracks are nice and the competition was the best I came across as far as being courteous and skllfull.
It's just that AC, man, that eye candy is too cool for school.
I think DTM is a close second.
This guy will never finish ac. just like the way he left us all in it with netkar pro.
Sure you may get more content. but multi player with it will always suck.
I purchased AC because it was on sale. I still feel ripped off for buying it.
Physics, pretty good. graphics shiny. then what? i get bored driving around on my own or against ai.
but thats my opinion. some may like this style and power to them.
i just dont think you can even compare AC with iracing at all.
An "experienced sim racer" who says iRacing cars are "way too over complicated to drive".
seems legit.
Terrible advice. New racers need to understand this does nothing for them. If you cant cleanly race a rookie class car in a field, then you sure as hell cant race c, b, or a car. Whats the point of floating around in the back and farming SR? so you can get pissed than you suck at racing D class too?
The quality of racing is directly related to your Irating. The higher the better. The only way to get a higher irating is to get good finishes. im sitting at 3300+ IR on both oval/road and i rarely have issues with other drivers.
So you can either:
A: float around farming sr in last place, graduate to D,C,B,A classes, yet still hold a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ irating to were you are grouped with other users with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ irating and crash alot.
B: Learn to race by practice and study, drive defensively, and race hard but consistant for position to build up your IRating, if you crash out youll finish in last place. Only a few less SR than option A.
Which sounds more fun?
to all newcomers do yourself a favor and learn how to "race" while your a rookie and while your working up the ranks. Forget about SR, forget about irating and just have fun learning how to race a car. They will come to you when you aquire the skill. Farming SR only sets you up for failure.
OP just got owned and shows how little he actually knows. I've played AC like 1% compared to iRacing, but even I have spent more time on AC than the original poster.
AC is nice, but it is no iRacing that is for sure.
Try suggest to FIA that they ban steering wheel in every car in every class:D They will drive with xBox controller and catch every slide... right ? :D
I can understand that people cry over price of the sim but I spend more on coffe and ciggarets every month than with sub.
My kid plays Fifa and Nba and I pay much more money every year for his games then my iR :D
"hard earned" considering that the minimum wage is now 9-10 bucks an hour for flipping burgers, i wouldn't call it "hard earned" anymore
Race2Play is another good place to race for sure, but the quality of racing there was no better than iRacing. I dont know who theses "bad people" are at iRacing. In 130 races i've been knocked off track...... twice.
