Micro stutters

4070ti 7800X3D 32GB ram
I have got micro stutters which is driving me crazy ESPECIALLY when ppl join server anyone else have this ? I have reinstalled windows done a memtest pc running sweet so I’m at a loss to what it is

Have you googled it? I have seen this topic come by many times over the years.

Goto settings: system - display - graphics

if iRacing is in that list, goto the option and choose to disable optimizations.

Also: Press WIN + R -> type: powercfg.cpl
-> make sure this is on high performance

Press WIN + r -> type devmgmt.msc
-> find your input devices, disable powersaving on those (where possible)

Also check if your wheel and pedals are connected to the right USB ports (sometimes switching it back to USB2, or plugging it into USB3 port can also help).

If those do not help make sure you check the Iracing forums. Its been posted there a ton. plus send in a support ticket.

Guys I actually found the problem 3 days into testing and testing my issues !! It turned out to be my microphone usb cable is either broke or was maybe loose in the usb port soon as disabled mic and took out cable BOOOOM back in business, appreciate the comments tho glad I found it myself so can help others

How is that causing stuttering though. WTF lolz

From windows reconnecting the hardware. Causes a full system stutter. Probably vibrations from the FFB wheel or subs ect.

Don't place your computer where your wheel vibrations go through it.

Season 3 update messed alot of us up it seems, from those of us suffering the file validation every time we close practice, new equipment and new OS so try again iRacing, it isn't a failing HDD, I use m.2, fresh. it is 100% your update, been a customer 2 years, an IT pro for 5, it isn't my equipment. It isn't the other dude's equipment, it showed up WITH the recent update

EDIT: I opened mine up for kicks and giggles, found a couple 2.5 SSDs I knew to be bad previously, not supposed to still be using but were connected. Disconnected those and poof, issue gone, Leaving this here as it was said, even Pros make mistakes, most don't do it publicly but who among you is perfect? Who among you would try to delete this? Apologies to the devs

For being an IT pro, I find it funny you assume new hardware can't be defective. But then again 5 years is nothing in regards to a career, you're still a noob.

Didn't say I had been doing it for 5 years, said I did it professionally for that time, also check the edit. I assumed my known bad 2.5" SSDs were not in use.

I am similar all is well, I took it as wow someone caught my rook move, maybe at the same time I did. I laughed :) I hope the same and that we are equally skilled on track to make for fun races!! If you are faster, I am letting you by ha, it's better than the dirt traps.
