Steam or website purchase / Black Friday offers to stack
Hello,
what’s cheaper in the long term? To subscribe through steam oder directly at the iracing website?

If there’s Black Friday offers at steam or the website can I just extend the subscription time or are these deals only valid when there’s no active sub?

During black friday on their website (I believe/not sure) you can tick an option box to activate it for your Steam account. In general it's just better to have a website subscription, you can still link it to Steam.

Steam does not have the Black Friday sales. If you get the Black Friday deals on the website it will add on to your existing time. iRacing will switch you from Steam platform to theirs if asked but they won't do it the other way around.

No, you can not take advantage of any sales on the website if you signed up for iRacing on Steam. You can install the Steam overlay if you signed up on the website though but that is only good for letting people know you are playing and to track hours, etc.
