How much to buy all content?
I was wondering if anyone could tell me about how much it would cost if I bought all the cars and tracks at once? Ty

it's probably around $1000 if you get it all at once, but you can get it for less than $700 if you get credits when there are deals on and buy content in groups so you get a discount.

and they're are really not big "interest" to have all cars content in one time, you never have enough time for use all at 100 % of capacity ;)

No point in buying all the content. Pick a series u want to join, and then focus on that.

And why do you want all the content? that is just madness...

like oliver said. choose a couple of series that share the same tracks, buy like 6 tracks per season with -20% discount, race 8 weeks to receive the participation bonus.

100% CLUB BRO

I'll be honest, I bought everything pretty quickly when I started, and yes, most of it I don't use much, if at all. It helps in random hosteds, because you know you can do whatever you want if you fancy having a mess around in say the Sprint Car on a road course (Sonoma is good for that). I have changed the cars I focus on in my time too, I run Xfinity and Trucks in leagues as well as occasional official races, even though I am a primarily road driver.

I was just a bit stupid though really, I could afford to buy everything over just a few months, so I did. :steamfacepalm:

own all content only use 30% of the content just bought it bit by bit over the year, good if serious about the game but not suggested if only play it once a month

you wont want 100 percent....waste of money. You will find you like certain cars the best and then whatever series they run you will get tracks that they run. I only race the nascar "cars" and the tracks that genuinly go with them. I found out quick that the other cars didnt interest me at all. You cant really treat iracing like a regular videogame.

Pick 2 series that you want to run, and buy the tracks for them. Saves you money on cars and tracks that you will never use. (Because it's not worth buying ovals if all you do is race road, and vice versa. There are exceptions, such as watkins glen, and Sonoma.)

Hi all
I got to this thread buy Googling "can I buy it all?", I ask this because I don't like the idea of monthly subscription, I don't want to feel obliged to play it and also I never know when I have the time, I want to own it.
How does it work?
I'm really interested and ive been analysing the gameplay on YouTube for years, I own pretty much every other sim.

Thanks

You will NEVER own all the content. The game is a subscription service plain and simple, when your subscription expires you lose the ability to play the game. If you renew your subscription after it is expired you will have access to everything that you had before it expired. Iracing is kind of like cable, "you no pay you no play." There is no offline play either. There are no AI racers only live humans to race against. If you want to save money sign up at Iracing instead of Steam, they have several discounts on the initial subscription and they have discounts on car and track packs.

Thank you very much, that is just what I wanted to know, seems justified to me!
My only hope is that they allow wheels to come off with crashes! There are videos dedicated to its bad damage model but apart from the wheels thing i think it's good, it seems with damage they're a bit behind In respect that it is the most realistic racing sim.

Anyway you have sold it to me, I've spent a £1000 or so on my pc so what's £9.00 a month! ;)

But to be fair if raceroom had ovals and retro stock cars I wouldn't be here! It's a brilliant game but Iracing here I come!

Thanks

I think that if you are a hardcore racer or even a hobby racer, Iracing can be fun and worth it. It really depends on what you are looking for in a racing title. Iracing has some decent deals for newbies, my understand is that they also have some very good black Friday sells the day after thanksgiving.

I personally race at least (very least) once a week and on those occassions I can spend a few hours racing with others. By my calculation, time spent racing versus cost, the game cost me well under a dollar and hour (about 60 cents) and that is GREAT entertainment value. When you initially sign up you are given everything you need to race the rookie class, as you change classes you will need to buy cars and some tracks in order to keep moving up.

I wish you the best of luck and maybe one day we will rub some paint.
