No replay mode, can't edit cam

All the guides say "Go into replay mode", but as a new install I have no replays. My indycar stock viewpoint is massively skewed to the left and rolled slightly. Why is it a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nightmare to fix this?

Enter a practice or testing session. Click practice, or test. Exit the car. You now have some replay footage you can view, even if you just sat in the pits not moving. Without leaving the session, back up the replay, then pause it. Choose the cockpit camera. Press ctrl + F12, which bringhs up the camera controls. You can then use the controls at the top to change the view. Roll, seating height, for/aft postion, left/right, up down tilt, FOV, whatever.
