I've never tried an XB1 controller, but I can't see it being any different to a 360 controller. If you have one of those lying around give it a try and see if that works. I would say drivers but as you say it only doesn't work in iRacing then that is unlikely to be the problem.

Go buy a racing wheel

They disabled Xbox One controllers in the last update a few months ago because of a bad driver from microsoft. You can force turn it back on in the app.ini I think, but just be warned It may not work properly. There were many reports of issues with that controller before they decided to just disable it.

They need to remove the ability to use controllers so everyone has to use a wheel as the min, damn controller players ruin races and its worse in oval racing as they can never hold their line in a pack and end up swerving until they cause 'the big one'

I mean I use to win races, on oval, with a controller. The method of input doesn't matter, some people are just bad drivers.

You can always tell a controller player in ovals as they are moving across the track and swerving and causing the big ones where the wheel drivers can hold their line better in traffic.
You may have won some races but how many paid the price for your win I wonder.

None, because I'm a competent driver. :steamhappy:

What you might think is someone on a controller, is actually more likely to be someone with a poor internet connection. They move around a heck of a lot more, and it doesn't have to be as obvious as blinking in and out.
