Content file locked

If I can't fix this issue efficiently I'm uninstalling, unsubscribing, and never touching racing games again for a long while. I have reinstalled iRacing 3 times and I still can't get it to get past this one file. Every time I try it it says the same thing:

an error occurred while updating iRacing (content file locked):
F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\iRacing\iRacingService64.exe

First Forza Horizon 4 servers don't work, now this. I want to harm small animals.

use task manager and close the file in question. then it should continue. good luck!

the file is locked because its in use....kill it and move on

im not a programmer. i just read how the last 20 people who posted this fixed it. lol

Another issue... now it won't load the sim. I have no idea why cus it doesn't provide any details. It does the same thing in test drive when I go to pick a car.
