Getting disqualified sometimes happens and its out of your control. Try not to worry too much about it. One you thing you can do to help yourself is watch the replay of the 1st place person and see where they brake for each corner. Then look at your car and see where you are braking. If you are getting bumped a lot in the corners, you may be braking sooner than needed and the other driver do not expect this. This really applies to road racing.
You can also set up a hot key to say "pass right or pass left" or us a mic and tell the faster car to go around. It doesnt always work, some drivers like myself do not have audio or text on while racing, but many do.

iRating should be ignored. Less attention to it will help most drivers in the long run. Its a mathematical system to try and match people. Dont focus on your iRating, it does nothing for you unless you are trying to go Pro. Some races you will be matched where its competitive, and others, not so much. Just race and have fun.

Actually, I did watch it. Next.
