@OP, There is Time trials and Test Drive mode.
It's this way because development takes time and money.
ya I have to agree that it's horrible advise , given the fact OP specified they arent new to sim racing. If you have the fundamentals down already, iRacing and its ecosystem is great at improving, but yes it is expensive AF and you'll have ups & downs but overall will improve.
I started with AC & ACC and transitioned to iRacing for the simple fact that I was completely bored with racing at Monza & Spa. But i'm having soo much more fun than I thought I would.
But OP at the end of the day, if your main interest in sim racing is single player vs AI, then iRacing isnt for you.
You really want to get into a logic argument?
"Iracng is for online competitive racing,no exeption.and you really wont learn under pressure, the outcomes will impact on your rating."
If it's for online comp ONLY like you claim, why is there Time Trials and Test Drive modes? For the second statement you made, about not learning under pressing, is completely asinine. The only way to get better dealing with pressure is to learn under pressure.
Also, both games/sims have different physics, so to compare them is totally illogical.
But I wouldn't expect less from a RF fan boy.
RF2 looks like an arcade game.
What? You're suggesting I stay away from iRacing because I want to understand the physics of the tire model and vehicles I purchased? Am I reading your comment correctly? You think it's better to avoid a sim/game if one wishes to practice on their own for a week or two before jumping in and ruining a server because they did not practice? Your logic and opinions are severely flawed. I own a track car in real life, and I can tell you right now that the best way to learn how to properly drive your car is to hire an instructor and practice without anyone else around you.
Please don't try to be one of those elitist in this community, because you're terrible at it
jezz calm down,The way you approached to my suggestion is like a total failure to adoption at sim racing,Am I reading your comment correctly? You think it's better to avoid a sim/game if one wishes to practice on their own for a week or two before jumping in and ruining a server because they did not practice?,here i think you may have confused me with some else,i actually suggested that.and for you to say this. Please don't try to be one of those elitist in this community, because you're terrible at it,at this point you dont need to reply me, this complety out of line here, anywaway good luck
