People have commented on complaints like this before, just another pointless post like this.
Rather than have a sim that gets a new version to but it is in continual development, hense subscription fee. Tracks and cars cost alot to develop.
And whats a plastic game ?
complain about a price for a service while millions still play world of warcraft.
Just go and play Project cars 3, it might suit your requirements in a better way than iRacing does.
yearly fee on BlackFriday is just under 100$ WITH tax which isnt that much compared to what you get. Hate it or love, but the service is unbeatable in the Sim-gaming industry.
I wonder whether all these similar posts are meant to entice people away from iRacing and into the lobbies of other sims. If so, it's not working.
Just downloading the new iRacing updates now - looks like they've tweaked a whole lot of cars and tracks. Three new road series next season, all of which look interesting. And a new damage model for the rookie mazdas, which is going to make those races even more chaotic than usual.
But there's no need to get salty over a game that has countless hours put onto it to make it the best simulator out there.
Its a membership because they need money to make the game run still
You can complain all you want, but you're gonna get dug out by thousands of iRacers who are going to come up with an argument repelling yours
It doesn't really take much brain power to realise that a global online racing simulator with the scope of iRacing is going to require some kind of subscription. It's why no other racing game offers the same thing, it's too expensive to operate if you just sell your game for a one-off payment.
and a mercedes is not cheaper where you live. the same goes with every import product. pay it or leave it. if you have the money to buy a sim station to race, iRacing is a water drop on a hot stone, dont try to justice iRacing for a price model which YOU dont want.
I mentioned this before, i paid the value of 50 years of iracing subscribtion just for my sim rig. i think a 2 year sub should be nothing compared to it. And no, this isnt even considered "high end"
As someone who has maintained an iRacing account for 10 years, I can positively tell you to go blow yourself. iRacing is not for everyone, especially people who are living beyond their means and complain about everything, because their bums are so tight, you couldn't get a pin up it with a jackhammer. Now please go ♥♥♥♥ yourself. Cheers!
Nobody is forcing you to play the game. If you can't afford it go play something else.
iRacing is cheaper than real racing, or a car, or gas for a car,
but $63 is a joke, not enough for any games and food
