iRacing

People who lag.
So what is with the cars that lag really bad, was running in 2nd for awhile on dirt and leaders made a mistake, he was all over the road but kept disappearing in front of me, i could kinda predict his line but with him not actually holding a ine because of the lag I backed off more than i would have liked, he made another mistake and i went around him he then comes at me and disappears, all of a sudden he's side by side and swinging wide into me, hits me and he wrecks, starts yelling at me sayig I "took him out"

how can i take out a car that was not there, then there and then not there again that drifted wide into me?

he had so much latency issues that he went through my car and crashed i didnt even feel the impact on my weehl and there was no visual indication it occured on my screen. Last lap of the race he dive bombs me to take my car out and of course we go down the track 1 and 2 locked (i won) but that was some serious bull.

While I personally beieve that laggers should leave a race, Iracing has no rules in effect against laggers. Laggers pay money just like the rest of us!

The sporting code still applies to them, though.

OP, if you think that player is taking their frustrations too far you should report the player. If the steward agrees that player will be told to chill out.

People drive up into me and catch my front fender with their rear fender when I'm at the edge of the track or next to the wall from time to time. Usually ends up with them yelling in their mic about how I spun them.. on purpose. Just make sure to save all your replays that way if anyone like the person you had your incident with decides to make the claim that you did something on purpose you'll be able to show your inputs, and also the other vehicle blinking, to the steward if it even goes it that far.

i always tell a lagger he is lagging when I get close. Some will just let you pass as they understand the issue. If they dont, do your best to get around and if you crash, let them know again they were lagging in and out and that was big part of crash. then move on to next race.
