News flash, it is an online video game that attempts to simulate driving.
i know multiple people who have a name change, as long as you got a important or logical reason for it other than, "duh nickname in online game" they are gonna be helping as good as they can.
and as others stated, there are indeed driver pseudonyms irl aswell.
if you have security reasons, identidy problems/issues in the past etc. they are more than helpful, trust me
