Theyre improving the graphics its just not an easy task and not an important one.
But, you can leave, but you are also leaving the only place in simracing to get good, easy to access online racing.
Been continuously surprised by the track quality and interior car detail in VR.
If iRacing was as basic as the other top sims, it could handle MOAR REFLECTIONS ON EVERYTHING (Not to be confused with actually good graphics by the way), however if the graphics matched the physics implementation, nobody would have a PC capable of running it.
Not that you want the very best graphics, but that you assume other do not because they lack the proper hardware.
As an old sim player, it was always physics over graphics, realistic modeling over eye candy.
So if I can have both, sure, but if I have to choose I choose the road that iRacing has taken.
Now maybe something like Automobilista 2 will have both - the physics, handling, ffb and AI from Reiza and the eye candy from Pcars2, but again it is the Reiza part which is making me excited, less so the PCars2 part (unless I include the excellent VR).
I really LOVE the VR in iRacing, imho it is one of the best implementations around,
Its your opinion but we move on and we dont live in the past its called life and great for u, but for me nope grpahics is old
I still call that BS.
