Fishing info in the guide is off. It says best bait for Thin Fishing Pole is HQ veggie but the Junk Bait is listed as more profitable.

Zareth, are you talking about the chart that recommends the best pole/bait for upgrading on page 63? This is different than profitability. I don't see anywhere it lists the HQ veggie as being more profitable than junk for thin fishing pole.

Oh nvm, I mistook the combination to best use for getting the fish to upgrade the rods as the best combination.

@Prime, best bait according to the guide for most profit (per 10 casts) when using Thin Fishing Pole is junk bait. The author of the guide in your link indicates that some things with fishing were changed from the time he started that guide.

Weird it is working, but I couldn't download it using Firefox or Opera, or even Tor. Only IE worked. Some security plugin on those other (or an add-on I'm using) prevents downloading either file.

Edit: Looks like Ghostery on Firefox and Chrome is what's blocking it, but I don't know the specific tracker because it's a direct download link.

An updated Strategy Guide is now available (v2.03) via our website. The updated version includes the following changes:

1) Added section for rings in Chapter 7
2) Added Hunter's Guild and all Mid-Bosses to the battle music section.
3) Vampirism mechanic was out-dated.
4) Hit chance formula was incorrect.
5) Reference to "Red Mage" rather than "Gray Mage" on Pg. 110.
6) Fixed description of the enounter with Helios in Forest Tower Basement.
7) Dark Ward description was incorrect.
8) Updated Marsh Beast INT to match latest version in development.

Try using Internet Explorer. Chromium and Firefox browsers have trouble downloading from that link for some reason.
