Past 2000km?

Do I have to do it on the same class? I hit 2000 on ninja and wanted to go farther, tried with a swordsmaster and got cut off at 2000 again. I'm playing on plus btw. Searched a bit but couldn't find an answer.

I believe it may have something to do with the difficulty and some unlocks regarding the dimension.
If you're playing on the lowest difficulty possible that allows you to skip the Demon Lord, I don't believe it is possible at all.

On Afternoon Stroll or higher setting, I'm pretty sure you can past 2000km with any class as long as you make it once. (And also go past 3000km if you are in dimensional passageway)
From then on there will be an opion pop out to let you choose if you want to go further once you reach 2000km. It will pop up every other 1000km you cover.

Did you miss the option?

I think plus removed the option to continue past 2000km

I don't think so, unless that's a thing for the steam version. I was able to go to 10000km in plus prior to the steam release. You just had to do the 2000km once, then with new characters after they you could go to 10000km.

Tourists can also go past 2000k by default, even without hitting it once before.

Ok so I never played vanilla owh and I can not go past 2000km, I have done it a handful of times all on the same difficulty and I get no choice. Now my friend did play owh can go past but only on the difficulty (stroll) that he had previously done in owh. when he does it in grueling where he didn't hit 2000 in original he gets cut off. i can hit 3000 but only in the dimensional passage where i then get end of dimension. i have done everything but the travel journal, not that is should matter afaik. it's frustrating because i was really looking forward to 10,000. honestly i don't know if it's intended or a bug from implementing the dimensional passageway stuff. i am going to post on the bug forum but i was just wondering if anyone had a similiar experience.

Out of curiosity, what items are in your inventory?

umm i don't remember all the different times, i've done it with and without the vault so i don't think there's one item across all the playthroughs but i generally try to hang on to rarer stuff like keys, ice crystals, scrolls of repair, higher tier weapons like stark or eagle blades or crescent and zerker axes, npc rewards and end game rewards. i deleted and re installed to see if that would work, my old save files are sitting in a back up, and unfortunately no luck. i did try today copying my clear data from plus to the original to see if that might trigger something but i didn't finish yet.

Have you tried doing the same settings with the same character more than once?
Is there any change after the update?

I have tried with the same character on the same difficulty, last update I have is from sept 1st and it didn't work as of today after copying my files from plus to original. Honestly I have no idea why it won't work. I just don't get the option to continue. :(

OWH+, i can't pass 2000km in hard dificuty , i need kill the darkness?, or find the dimensional passage?, maybe complete the game with all new classes+? or some item?
