Is there a way to have the background noise keep playing when the game isn't in focus?

I can tell this is going to be the kind of thing I play when I'm multitasking, but I notice that when I click away from the game into any other window, the sound from the game cuts out when it's not in focus. Is there any way to keep playing the app's sound when it's not in focus? Using Win10.

I use that to pause the game (because even the timer stops) when I'm doing something else, but if you're handy with them, you could see if there's a particular way to edit launch options in Steam to allow the game to keep running in the background.

Ah, I'm early enough in the game that I didn't realise later bits get a timer, thank you, that changes a lot.

No problem. (It's not that you have to solve the puzzle within a certain period of time or anything though. It's just fun to see how quickly you can do a level.)
