Things to keep in mind regarding the "official" Fistful-of-Frags (FoF) discussions / forums:

• Keep it civil! That should not need much clarification. People are welcome to their opinions, and others are welcome to disagree with those opinions. However, shouting-matches, name-calling or harassment are not necessary or welcomed. Moderators may edit, archive or delete posts as needed to keep decorum.
  
• Stay on topic! For any given thread, please stick to the original topic. For example, if a topic is about weapons-balancing, do not start babbling about server administration, etc. See further below for some guidance as to what types of topics should be posted in which sub-forums. Moderators may move, merge or archive posts as needed to keep things tidy.
  
• Avoid duplication. If there is already a topic for something, try to add your thoughts to that topic - rather than starting yet another topic for it. For example, do you think a particular weapon is too powerful? If there is already a (relatively recent = not many months-old) thread discussing that topic - please append your thoughts to that thread - rather than starting yet another thread about the same thing. Moderators may move, merge or archive posts as needed to keep things tidy.
  
• Check the "guides" first. Before asking "How do I do" something, you should probably check the "Guides" section first. Over time there will no-doubt be lots of good information (probably along with some not-so-good information of course. :P )

Regarding what types of topics should be posted where, here is a general guide (that should really be inherently obvious):

• Have a suggestion about how to improve the game? Want to say what you like about it best? Want to join a discussion about what to change, or not change about FoF in the future? Be sure to post in the "Feedback & Suggestions" sub-forum!
  
• Reporting a "bug" or problem or error message experienced in the FoF game client? Be sure to post in the "Bug Reports" sub-forum! Be sure include some basic details like: What operating system, your hardware configuration, etc. See this post in particular; and also this post for Mac/OSX-related issues.
  
• Need information or help with setting-up or running an FoF server? Be sure to post it the "Server Administration" sub-forum!
  
• Have some in-game content to contribute? Maybe a "map"? Be sure to post in the "3rd Party Content" sub-forum!
  
• Have or are working-on a "plug-in" for the game? Be sure to post in the "Plug-in Development" sub-forum!
  
• Not sure how to do something in-game? Before asking "How do I do ..." something, you should probably check the "Guides" section first. Over time there will no-doubt be lots of good information in there. Otherwise, you can also post in the "How do I ..." sub-forum.
  
• If your topic does not fit any any of those categories, or you are unsure where it should go, just post in the "General Discussion" area. Be aware that a moderator may move it to a more appropriate area later.
