Announcing: progression rank for 0 steam level accounts

Tired of banning 0 level accounts that return again and again to keep cheating, I decided to craft some sort of rank where you get experience from notoriety (500 noto = 1 rank), and some weapons and perks are locked behind this system. There are up to 100 levels, weapons on the ground can be picked freely though, bots do not count towards experience. Getting up to steam level 1 gets rid of this system

I like that, a regular level 0 player will unlock stuff reasonably quickly and keep the progress when cheater won't be able to just jump from one account to other with zero effort. That is a good idea.

Nice job, I think this will be a brilliant way to scare off throwaway accounts, at the same time it's also fair for those who are completely new before they buy anything off of Steam.

Some people have reported to me that they have gained no experience or Fragmaster Rank however many human players they have killed.

And when entering the game for first time, some people may have a negative Fragmaster Rank (e.g. -275/100), then they can use nothing but fists and kick. But when a game ends, the Fragmaster Rank will return to zero.

I don't know how the issue is because my Steam level is not zero, but I think that this may be a serious problem...

In this computer, I had logged in with this main account, and when I log in with a sub account, the problem appairs.

Maybe the data of Fragmaster Rank system is stored in local instead of Steam cloud?

Pass the whiskey! I do agree with this system, but it is also somewhat sensitive. Because some players who lack a payment method would be troubled If it can not be handled properly.

According to my survey, most (90%) of fof players in China is over level 1.
But I also want to help these 0-levels to figure out a solution.

There's no other solution than playing the game.
You need roughly 8k notoriety (in sum) in multiplayer matches to unlock all weapons and perks, it's not too little but it isn't too much either.
There's no other way to "keep at bay" lvl0 steam accounts which cheaters usually use to bypass their bans.

That issue has been sorted out (in my tests), it supports cloud now, also multiple accounts on same computer

I got why you did it. In other hand, this was always free game. Why our history was not transfer to new system? I never cheated and I have to play just with basic weapons. Pretty frustrating to be just a target.
