Endgame money farming?
What enemies are best for gaining money? I'm right before Godcat and I need money for more stat items.

How to do it in Cheat Engine?

I usually farmed the dragons just before the boss screen.

Money and experience is not affected by difficulty so that is quite useful to just farm the same enemy over and over on easy. Probably best enemy for farming would be Zombie Hydra found in the tomb in Graybone Cemetary, the group of dragons on the bridge right before the final boss are also an option, if you want to only get money and no exp at all the then you may consider fighting certain groups of foes on the Battle Mountain to farm items from them and then sell the items for money. I guess Zombie Hydra is the simplest and the best option.

Instead of money farming I fight foes that have a 1% chance to drop special items over and over again. I find it faster than having to need millions for a single item

That depends how many stat food you already bought of that type, I guess on lower numbers farming money is faster.

Yeah, but to do that requires leaving the area and coming back over and over again.
cheat engine is pretty easy to learn, just ignore all the fancy stuff you see on the program.

click on "select process" icon, your game must be open during this process.

2# find the epic battle fantasy 4 process open it

3# go into your game and check how much money you have

for example let's pretend you have 100 money and you want 1000 or more.

type 100 in cheat engine then click on "new scan" then you buy something or sell an item, let's pretend i bought one potion(it can be any item as long as the number changes) i now have 50 money left go back to cheat engine and type in the number 50 and press "next scan" now on the side yo should see alot of addresses with the number 50 what you wanna do is to repeat the process until you have 4 or less addresses, double click on each address and they will pop up beneath the address window, double click on the number and change it to 1000 do this for all addresses, you only need to do this for one process but it's hard to figure out which address is the one that alters your ingame currency once you have done that go into the game and if your money value hasn't changed proceed to the nearest shop and buy or sell an item and it should work.

i know this is alot to take in but trust me once you get the hang of it, it's easy as pie! 8)

For legit farming, the dragons on the screen just before godcats give the most money and exp in the whole game (on any difficulty)
