Edit:
Changed over 10 games running always people in the lobby waiting
1) Play enough full games to learn you love it, and then spend hundreds of hours playing it. I've spent about 700 hours playing MP and I'd say at least 80% of that time was in full games. That was with the pre-launch playerbase which was a very small community.
2) You'll play lots of full games until something better comes along and then jump ship. In the mean time you won't have any problems finding full games.
Bought.
Have fun ;)
a look at steamcharts, and you can see that the population was 10-30 players for a year.
it's 250 players right now on a saturday during the sale. with an average of under 30 players.
game looks fun but i'd think about it if you plan to play with random people.
might be the kind of thing that becomes frustrating to find a good game if you don't have like 3 friends playing on voice chat.
There is an extensive Single Player Campaign and now you can do multiplayer with bots that you control.
i guess there wasn`t that much advertising going on...well i do hope it picks up. i`m fine with singel player, but i hope once i got it runnin i can dive into mp aswell.
We had some periods during EA that had a small playerbase but currently there are always open games and it is rare that you have to wait for an game.
Besides that community is very active and always up for an game. Just ask for an friendship ;)
That's what the unofficial Teamspeak server is for. We're building a strong, active and friendly community to be able to offer organzied games for serious challenges and higher difficulties as well as just the random PUG games to have some fun.
Server address is ts.game-com.de, give it a shot. We have EU and US timezones covered pretty well. :)
overall one of the most fun times i`ve ever had playing an online game.
Thank you! Knowing this puts a huge smile on my face. :)
