Also, don't say it here like some ultimatum as if someone cares if you buy it or not. It just makes you seem petty for no reason.
I imagine DR3 will be the same- I'll just wait and see if anyone mods any other playable characters that I can choose and customize throught textures.
go to Sims
I care, people I play with care.
Also, story driven games are not limited to plain and boring characters (Such as the entirety of the Dead Rising series) with 0 customization. To list 3 of the better ones, Elder Scrolls (Entire series), Mass Effect series(Much deeper and meaningful story with characters that "feel" like people) and Dragon Age series (same as before, deep meaningful stories).
Stories are not limited to a single charcters, especially in such a 3rd rate zombie grind game with lazy developers. Even Day Z offers some costumization to make the game more immersive. Dead Rising has and always will be boring with inexistent immersion.
I'm aslo entitled to my opinion, so bugger off.

-♥♥♥♥♥♥ alert- "Hur dur! Hur dur! Hur dur!"... Go back to school, sucker.
Interesting sugestion, I've played the games before. Not a huge fan, but still play them, the costumization is quite limited as well, not my cup of tea.
Also, you missed the wall.
Dumbest person ever? Right, try playing EVE. Let's see how that works out for you.
An internet warrior I assume.
"Check yourself son, respect others older than you, half wit cheater. Nice VAC ban you got there."
"-♥♥♥♥♥♥ alert- "Hur dur! Hur dur! Hur dur!"... Go back to school, sucker."
How respectful of you, isn't it? I mean, it's funny that even despite the fact that you totally don't know the person you treat him like poo. And calling him a "sucker"? That's just rude, he didn't say anything bad about you, unless you take offense for speaking of pirating and being called a "troll". Moving on.
Now here you're right about the fact that you're older, but even so, if you're adult enough you should know that being the "better person" is what you should do. Unless you're a dimwit. Just because you're older than him doesn't make you ANY better. Seriously, people should start actually getting to know the person to start judging.
Now to the topic.
Lack of character creation is a bad thing? Really? It's just an option. But, you've implied it as of something that should be everywhere as I got it from the "... To this day" part. And the examples. Meh. These are awful examples because all of these games are story-based. While Dead Rising, on the other hand, mainly offers fun. A lot of it. You can still change your clothes to whatever you find. Of course that's not the most detailed customization, but it's something.
But still, you should change your point of view to this game as of something mainly created for the (again) fun. That also can be shared with a friend. Just don't take this game as of something serious, that's not the whole point of the series anyway.
P.S. I want arguments in reply. Not some crappy "furry" calling (because I am not one) and more disrespect along with insults. I fully respect your opinions and I've argumented what you said. If you're so "adult" you shall answer with respect and arguments. If you are not, then, no matter.
Don't forget to keep your attitude at level.
Good morning/day/noon/afternoon/any-time-of-the-day to you, sir.
- Oh look a sensible person! Yeah, it would be cool, and Some character selection would be nice as well. Too bad the game's just not worth it for me, playing a cliche male is not my cup of tea. Mods are nice as well, I can say I've modded skyrim to tim buk tu and back, and I love the modding community. But certainly I feel games like these are a direct insult to the playerbase, hyping up the inexistential and providing a "pretty" game with blood and gore and calling it a AAA title whilst using the same formula that's been ragged around the gaming industry countless times. I don't see the enticement to even consider taking this title and developer seriously when their products at best come out to be 3rd rate. Why must the players have to do the work the developers were so adamant to negate just to push release date? Peronsally the Dead Rising series is way too incomplete for me to even consider paying more than 15 bucks for it, same goes for many other "AAA" games out there.
- Dont know what life you're leading, but not everyone can lose a brain... Certainly not me.
- Another sensible person! Wow.
- Oh no, I'm not in the least offended. Even less by someone who can't go a single sentence without butchering the english language. It's like a skillet with a charred steak on it calling the pot black. Cheaters deserve 0 respect from anyone as well as those who have saw dust for brains (this, in no way, is directed at you). I also don't respect raging fanboys whose purpose on the forums is provide negative feedback instead of reasoning and stating a decent argument against mine.
- Character customization entails the customization from head to toe. Might as well call it "Costume-ize your character," instead of underhandedly lying about charcter custumization when at best the player can change the charcter into drag. I feel 'single character series' that don't provide a decent story whilst at the same time providing fun shows the lack of commitment from the developers into a series. For example, my experience with Assasins Creed, same trash different kind of pretty... White washed story with the same premise but different setting. How lame is that? Hey, you know, at least let us be our own assasin by the 4th game or something. Dead island, same thing! Well, at least the story is congruent and they let you choose one of the 4 characters. I personally don't feel any immersion from games that force you to play a washed out 2 part story whilst shackling the player to a single, boring and overused cliche character. I don't see how these people have the dignity to even call this a finished game.
- If you want sensless butchering fun? There's other games out there much more worth the cash than this one. Personally speaking of course.
- Last but not least. I respect those that respect me. Cause and effect. So thank you for your imput, here's mine.
- They said the same thing about slavery back in the 1800s... Civil rights movement in the 1960s. ♥♥♥♥ changes with opinions kiddo. Just because it is, does not mean it should be or that it is right.
