Explore while rhonda's busy

Hey there, I have an issue. I started the game, I had the mid-game crashes at first, I rolled back to 335 driver and it worked, anyway that's not the issue. I'm stuck at the first mission, at the garage. It tells me "Explore while Rhoanda's busy".
I have been playing the game for an hour, completed the side-missions that popped up so far, I haven't received any extra side-missions but everytime I get to her it says that she's still busy and she doesn't talk to me, thus I can't procced. What is wrong? What can I do?

Restart the game.

Edit: As in, a new playthrough.

Like, the whole thing?... And what do I do even if I restart the game huh? I'll reach at the same place again, then what?

It always takes a while, I was running around like a fool too but all of the sudden it continued.

I have even tried bringing the survivor from the hotel, the first side-mission, and it does nothing. I have done the garden thingy with the ninja old man, still nothing. I would really appreciate it if someone could help.

it seems to be this feature with the timers in the dead rising games, have to wait some in-game hours for next chapter to be available
