1) Deadrising3.exe has stopped working-Crash on Boot.

Here are some possible solutions:

Move the game to local disk C.
Quit steam then delete the folder named appcache located in the installation directory and try to restart steam.
Rollback your graphic card drivers.
Disable Dxtory, FRAPS, Shadowplay and steam overlay before launching the game.
2) Dead Rising 3 crashing in the main menu.

First locate the rendersettings.ini file in the installation directory. Under rendersettings.ini file, configure your screen height, screen width, window height and window width to correspond with your native resolution. After configuration, set the file to read only the restart the game.

3) Severe lag during Dead Rising 3 cut scenes.

This can be corrected by reducing the resolution from 1080p to 720p.

4) Unable to locate the Untold Stories DLCs in the title menu.

This can be very confusing but luckily there is a quick remedy. Right click on the Dead Rising 3 on steam library list then select properties. Click on the DLC tab and ensure all the boxes are checked then restart the game.

5) Black screen in the multiplayer or Co-Op mode.

Exit the game completely and start the game in a windowed mode. Join the Co-Op or multiplayer then switch to full screen.

6) Problems in changing screen aspects to 16:10 and 21:9.

The game is best when it fits perfectly on the screen. To change aspect, go to steamsteamappscommonDead Rising 3datadatafile and open a file txt. Find the line Aspect=”1.7777777778″ and change it to Aspect=”1.6″ to enjoy 16:10 screens and to Aspect=”2.333333333″ to enjoy 21:9 screens.

7) Dead Rising 3 mid-game crashes.

These crashes can be complete or partial where you are left staring at a loading screen for long. A quick fix to this is to simply roll back graphic card drivers to 335.23 or there about. Before executing the above fix all background applications need to be closed including the Antivirus in use.

8) Dual monitor issues.

To fix these issues, first ensure that team viewer is not running. Connect the second display using the display mode called extend. The second display should be set as the primary. This will ensure the game will run on the required graphics card on the second display. If for instance you have more than one video card, ensure you disable all but one of them.

9) D3DCOMPILER_43.DLL error.

Ensure that you have installed the latest Direct X drivers.

10) PC shuts down completely after attempting to boot the game.

First you need to ensure that your game files are not corrupted or incomplete. To do this you need to right click on Dead Rising 3 on your library then select properties, then LOCAL FILES, then click on VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE. If the files are in order, rollback the graphic card drivers and then restart the game.

I would like to add that I had great results in reducing the stutter in my cutscenes by
- Setting DoF to off and motion blur to off. (both are done quite bad in this game.)
-Shadows at medium/low can help with that too for some people. (didn't for me so I set back to high.)
I play at full graphics which is the option after 1080p.

-SSAO is not really good looking here either/minimal effect and is something that can be turned off to trim some memory usage.
-Anti aliasing is a pretty decent hit to the video card so anyone on lower end stuff should look at reducing shadow and aa.

im tired to fix my dead rising 3... all suggestion in forum site, youtube and google i tried all but the game does'nt work... if possible can i REFUND my money? why this game launch but too many error and bug. i got the all requirements... what i got a solution in this game? i got a headache now.. pls reply at me tnx or email me [e-mail]

You can refund the game, go to steam support and ask for a refund on it. But follow their guidelines.
