EDIT: Oh, I will take a look at it next time I go in game. Thanks both of you
I personally tend to stock up on my favorite combo weapons when I start the game, then head out... and just pick up stuff as I go. I also keep an eye on whether I can craft things and craft stuff on the fly... esp good if I see stuff I know will combo to make a better weapon, I head for it and whip up even more death.
Unless your driving around all the time, or hanging around the safehouses... the weapon locker's are impractical to keep your weapons always maxed on the best. Well, at least the way I play that is.
I think this is worth pointing out. Some may do what I do which is horde the less common more powerful items for when you really need them on a first run when you don't know what the game may throw at you yet. This can be items like LMG/boss weapons/etc. It isn't that you can't get more or even that they are hard so much as its just a slight nuisance to have to obtain them on a regular basis when a bladed weapon and a few others are far more then enough for 90% of the content. This leaves the big issue of you have these rares until you fight the final boss or finish the game having never used them and thus played with effectively less inventory slots then you really would have had since they went reserved all game. I'm particularly bad about this in RPGs and games like Dues Ex (had all the best stuff in the game fully upgraded and enough ammo and get to the final boss to realize I had enough firepower to literally kill the boss 20-30x) or end up finishing an RPG never having used those Megaelixer or w/e. That is one advantage of the weapon locker if I wanna goof around or be lazy. That said I beat majority of the game with a bladed weapon such as Broadsword/Firesword (found/crafted, not from the locker) and the last 3 chapters I kept using my trusty Beam sword (this I would spawn out of lazyness but they last pretty long).
its there for the people who want them
the game does not force u to do anything u can walk the whole way only use only giant lollipops dressed in a mini skirt with a gracho nose to kill the zombiea, only your crazy imagination determines what happens in the open world and how you play the game...
Or maybe before completion you can only withdraw half as much and it takes twice as long to reload.
The fact that I can just go take out two flame swords and a beer hat and it recharges by the time I use all of it is too much.
BUT as some people have stated, just don't use it if you think it's too easy. It is however annoying to try and nerf yourself when a game is too easy.
