PLAY SINGLEPLAYER IF YOU DONT WANT COOP

Seriously, I've been joining games for the past hour and everyone keeps booting me immediately. I mean there is an option to have no people joining, so please choose that option if you don't want someone to drop in. People have to wait out loading screens and I'd prefer to play instead of looking at a loading screen.
Want coop? Choose coop and let others join.
Don't want coop? Choose Singleplayer and enjoy the game by yourself instead of booting people like a douche.

It needs a friends only setting I think. People have probably enabled co op to play with friends only.

Nope because if you choose singleplayer people can join by invite.

id like an option to play with friends only, though I also like when random players join. But I think many people would prefer to just play with friends.

Like I said friends can join in when you choose singleplayer.
You just have to invite them. Worked for me.

I think the problem is that it is confusing. Single player isn't the first option when creating a game, so I guarantee you that a lot of people just click through the motions without really reading what the options are and then don't realize that they are opening the game up to multiplayer. I am like 99% sure that is the problem.

I chose singleplayer at the beginning, and people join my game.
I am sure there is something wrong because it says I lost connection to them within 2 minutes. They probably think I am kicking them.
I am not. I would, but I don't get chance.
But I would only kick them because I see no other way to continue playing alone when it ignored my choice for singleplayer at the start of the game

how do you even join or invite coop ? i was once on a section and then i realised some coop icon, but didnt know what to do, and said the sessian ended

It automatically changes your choice to coop if you join someone else's game just once.

SP is just SP, however you want to play, cause you choose how you play alone. The options are there to match you with ppl that play thye same way you play.
