Save game doesnt sync

I know there are a lot of people here that have the game not running or barely running but for me it seems to run fine on both my computers. The problem I have is that the save games dont seem to be syncing to my profile. All my stats and unlocks do. I have two extra inventory slots at the start of the game for instance.

It's due to cloud. Disable cloud saving, then play for a bit (your local save must be newer than the one on the cloud). When you quit the game, re-enable cloud saving (if you need it). Upon starting the game again Steam will ask you what to do with save files, choose upload to steam cloud, done. Should be working fine after that.

Only thing I can think of for now is manually back up your game in a separate folder of your choosing. Then copy and paste a previous save if you run into it again.

For me the DR3 saves are located in My Documents -> my games -> Dead Rising 3

well technically the exact location is
C:/Users/<Your Windows User Name>/Documents/my games/Dead Rising 3
