[Possible Fix] For Users Experiencing Blank Screen Startup
If you're experiencing blank screen startups it's possible your computer doesn't have a C: drive (as is the case with mine) in the past this happened with Metal Gear Rising, and I solved it by inserting a USB to make a C drive to satisfy the program. However, if you happen not to have a C: drive, what you can do is type in cmd

subst C: (Your drive letter DR3 is installed on):\

for example what I entered in cmd looked like this

subst C: I:\

When you go to my computer you'll see a fake C drive that's exactly the same as your main drive in size, and if you're lucky DR3 will boot up now.

As for those curious.

The source where I found out how:

With a source that describes likely how to revert back to normal if it doesn't change anything in your case:

This needs to be bumped. I had the exact same problem with DR2.

Basically all you have to do is literally just create a clone C drive and launch the game.
This 100% fixed the black screen for me

Assuming you just bought the game. This issue was mainly due to a weird issue with game ports from consoles to PC, and was primarily first gen "next-gen" ports interacting with primary drives that weren't labeled C:.

However, you can still attempt a few things such as if you haven't restarting after installation, verifying the game files, and using the clone drive (if it works since you already have a C: local), and not a USB drive.

Additionally if you can post your computer's specifications and version of windows it would possibly indicate a problem there instead.

*edit*

Finally forgot to mention that if your issue specifically isn't a blank-screen at start-up you should mention the differences. Such as a crash window on launch, etc.

When i was having a Black Screen,I minimised my game as soon as i opened it for some reason, when i went back the game had loaded ,and it worked

So i tried it again it worked ,now all you need to is minimise you game when loading, then open the game after a min ,it will work

This worked on a friends system. After the game started he got a black screen. I pressed alt + enter, changed the game to windowed mode. Then I set the resolution to 1920 x 1080. My friend uses a TCL 43 LCD TV as a monitor. For some reason, some games act screwy at 4K resolutions. Some don't.
