Black Screen after credits leading into Chapter 8

So I haven't had any major gamebreaking bugs, other then the problems that come with a bad pc port. I finally made it through Chapter 7, and after checking the wiki while searching for a solution to my problem, I have indeed met the conditions to get to Chapter 8. The problem, however, is that when I end the credits, no matter how much time I just let the credits roll, the game just turns goes into a black screen, but I'm obviously somewhere because I can swing my laser sword and it makes noise, but no cutscene played, almost as if my game is missing files. I have tried multiple times to verify the game cache and reinstalling the game, and even though I don't think it has anything to do with this problem, here are my computer's specs. Thank you for taking the time to read this and trying to help me resolve this issue.

GPU:GeForce GT 650M
CPU:Intel(R) Core i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHZ
64-bit OS
Windows 7

Since making this post, I have tried reinstalling it two more times, and running the game as adminstrator. Neither of these has worked. Hopefully someone else takes notice of this post with a solution.

Up. I've just finished Chapter 7 on Nightmare and a get a black screen after the credits. I can swing my weapon, pause the game and I can hear Nick when I jump or roll but I cannot see anything, it is rather annoying this being my first bug with the game.

Edit .- Well, I realized I was playing with the infinity mod, after deleted it the game loaded chapter 8. Not having it doesn't really matter, I had two and a half days left at the end of chapter 7. See if you guys have something "extra" installed that could be interfering with the game in some ways, or try playing it on window mode see if that does it.

Tried this and didnt work :/ , I had infinity mod too :/ can you provide your save at the begginig of chapter 8 pleaseeeeeeee I really want to finish this game

Fixed.

To anyone having this and having infinity mod:

1- restore the original files that you replaced with the mod
2- restart chapter 7 , complete it, wait for credits, save in Chapter 8
3- (Optional if you wish to keep the mod) Re install the mod
4- Load your game again :).

Guys, I just found the problem. If anyone here still uses the Infinity Mode, don't use the "mission" folder. That's what gives the issue that prevents you to reach Chapter 8. But don't worry, the mod still works well even without using the "mission" folder from it.
