Is there anyway to totally disable stupid op dlc weapons?
I will do a brand new game and is there a way for me not to see those op dlc weapons in my inventory?

You can just not use them.

I don't think that's what he asked.

In other words, there isn't away, unless you mod them outta the game somehow.

Not sure about why anyone would wanna do so though. Either the OP is worried about that some random strangers are gonna carry all those 'stupid op DLC weapons' and kill too many of those zombies too his liking, or that he doesn't want to accidentally combining stuff into one of em for whatever reason.

I dont wanna use them and I dont wanna see them. If I see them, I could "accidently" use them. Im gonna try something else do, gonna report back if its working.

Okay. So in the library page I untick dlc1-4 and bamm... Now I cant see those weapons in my inventory. Sweet.

Now I have another question (and this is a tricky one). I started a new game and... why does my characters default skin looks like a reject from fifty shades? Im pretty sure that I did not dress like this before.

Yeah, they are completely broken and completely trivialize the difficulty of the game. But you can just not use them. Think of it like choosing not to use an infinite ammo option.

I'm always amused when people act like it's so easy to use restraint. With as easy as it seems from posts, 90%+ of the world should be in great physical shape because all you have to do is work out and eat right. Drugs wouldn't be a problem, nether would drinking or smoking... Just don't do it.

Those weapons are way overpowered. Since I'm like most of the people out there I have little restraint when it comes to avoiding such weapons. I don't like them, but, they make my life easier and are hard to resist.

Such weapons should not be forced on people buying the game. Make them optional and easy to remove.

Having to disable the side story DLC in order to do it isn't really a great option. Give us the option at the start of the game to not use the things. :cfacepalm:

Well, it is, if you're an adult.

That's the exact reason I don't use them. Personally I find melee weapons way more fun and satisfying so I use those

oh stop being so melodramatic. No one's forcing anything on anyone.

Or, you know, be an adult about it and just don't do the things you don't want to do?

It is easy to use restraint and if player accidentally picked up the DLC item they could just drop it. Recharge timer/other storages make getting items trivial. Yes, they are very OP, particularly the railgun/gattling gun. Guess what, the flare gun is more OP than anything else in the entire game. It is not DLC. You could simply not use items you think break the game. Many of the special items are stronger than any DLC except when dealing with bosses like final boss using gattling gun.
