Dead Rising 3 CO-OP [Info]

Hey folks, just like to share some information for those who wanted to know about coop. This information was for Xbox but i'am sure its close or same way we do it for PC/Steam. I dont know if we PC user still need "Windows live" hopefully NOT! D:

How many players can play Dead Rising 3 locally (couch co-op)?

Dead Rising 3 sadly does not support couch co-op.

How many players can play Dead Rising 3 via system link or LAN?

You must be connected to Xbox Live to play co-op. (PC/Steam users prob don't need this.)

How many players can play Dead Rising 3 online?

Two players are supported in Dead Rising 3's co-op mode.

How do you begin a co-op session in Dead Rising 3?

To join a co-op session you choose "online" from the main menu and pick which category of game you'd like to join based on your play style. To start a co-op session that's joinable, simply choose your play style as anything other than "Single Player" when creating a game. You can invite a friend anytime through the Xbox One interface.(Surely same way as we always invite through steam)

How does save game progress work for co-op play in Dead Rising 3?

All progress is saved for both players - this includes experience, blueprints, collectibles, and combo vehicles. Mission progress will be saved on certain side missions and main missions if you've progressed through your own game to a similar spot in the story. Note - you'll still earn PP from completing the missions regardless.

Can I join a game if the host is further along than me in Dead Rising 3?

Yes, though the game seems to do its best to match you with someone not as far along.

How many co-op combo vehicles are there in Dead Rising 3?

We believe there are four co-op specific vehicles, though all vehicles can have a passenger on/in them. Party Slapper Recipe: Street Cleaner + Party Van Co-Op: Driver and Gunner Turret Rig Recipe: Steamroller + Sedan Co-Op: Driver and Gunner Forkwork Recipe: Forklift + Fireworks Van Co-Op: Driver and Gunner Shockdozer Recipe: Ambulance + Bulldozer Co-Op: Driver and Utility

Who does player two use in co-op? Is that player visible in cut-scenes?

Player two takes the role of ♥♥♥♥ (his name is D I C K ), the baseball cap wearing friend from the diner early in the game. He is not visible during the story's cut scenes in co-op.

So the actual protagonist's name is Nick, but the co-op player's name is Dick?

Perfect. Should've made Chuck's co-op partner "Phuck" back in DR2.
