Pause/Disable annoying timers.
Please.. this annoying timer ruined the first two games.. and it's here again in DR3. There has to be a way to disable it or pause these timers.. some people (like me) would love to explore the world.. slay zombies for fun without annoying timers running out and missing out on sidequests..

the timer only effects side missions. if you play the game on normal you wont have a time limit for all the main story missions and can continue to play for as long as you want!

that being said i also dislike the timer! Im sure a mod will come out to allow no time on side missions too.

It's just i simply HATE time limits in such open world games.. it kills the fun of it completely! i love to take time to finish sidequests and so on.. instead of being tied to an annoying time limiter and rush through things.

you can always resort to a trainer.

No, trainers are always buggy and don't work properly.
Why not just restart the story every now and then? From what I've seen the entire world is open right from the start and sidequests reset every time you do while your character still keeps blueprints and skills and stuff. The time limit is also moslty ignorable and won't get in your way much unless you play for more than 12 hours in a row.

Don't think there will be a trainer for a while i did use a trainer for RE 4 PC for merc so i could take my time not rush and use all my ammo and grenades but like they said you get 3 ways to choose to play DR3.

DR1 first time i just ignored story and explored/leveled up you shouldn't tackle the story till you leveled up and fast enough.
i'm playing Off the Record again on PC and am using sandbox to level up first and remember the game, but apparently you have to beat DR3 to unlock free roam which kinda sucks.

That's what i HATED about the first one.. especially with that achievement that required saving a lot of people at once and taking them to other sections etc.. the time limits, it just ruins the immersion for me.

I get what you mean by it being annoying, but how does it ruin immersion? The Timer coincides with the plot. The Military/Escape is coming in Three days, and everything is fitted within that time. What, did you think the Cult from DR1 was gonna put off their sacrifice JUST so you could save that woman? No. They're gonna carry out that ritual within the set time, and if you miss it, too bad. Calling it annoying is your opinion, and I can respect it, but from an objective point of view, it is blasphemous to call it immersion breaking. That just makes no sense.

If i recall correctly.. (Which i haven't played in years so yeah i'm no longer certain) the side missions had their own timers. I understood the main plot couldn't be delayed, but there was like a 5minute time limit for side missions etc that weren't, or didn't really feel like they were really part of the main timer.. because how does a mission expire with saving someone who's right beside you? a second late and you fail even if they are right beside you?

i think it's relevant to add i've played strictly the console version so i don't know if the PC version is different or if i'm even remembering it correctly anymore.
