Sandbox?

Is there a free mode or after you beat the story time for you to just run around n do things? Find the collectibles and get achievements/ gta it up? I tried google, but nothing specifically said there was a free roam type thing mode.

I don't think this one has a timer like the previous titles...

in every dead rising game there is the story mode and a Special game mode in dead rising 1 it is over time mode in dead rising 2 its terror is reality and in dead rising 2 off the record it is sand box mode maybe it is the ultra super mega... arcade remix but mabye they did a sand box mode and if not maybe there will be a game update that will add a new game mode no body can know (unless you check on xbox one...)

This does have a timer, and to the creator of the discussion, no, there is no sandbox mode. Sorry. There's the original mode, and that last 5 days I belive and there is Nightmare mode which goes back to the classic 3 day time limit.

What happens if you run out of time can you just continue from a previous save?

Yes it has a 6 day time limit. The other games had a 3 games time limit. And based on what you done in these days you had other endings

The timer doesn't ruin the fun at all. You keep your level and everything so losing doesn't actually matter. You just lose story progress that you will likely do many times for achievements and what not.
