This is horror done right

Got the chance to play it at a friend's house a few days ago. I loved it, even though it was short.

No cheap scares or even jumpscares (unless you go for them). No loud sounds. The game doesn't scare you. You scare yourself. I'm usually not much for horror games, unless I have a way to fight back. This game was genuinely fun for me.

My only gripe about the anomalies is how most posters never changed in terms of some details, so they were just red herrings. I think 3 of the 5 never change in terms of details. I wish they were used for more than the most obvious anomalies. Like, changing the color theme, for example. More harmless stuff.

Well, anyway. The game's great. I'll buy it myself when I can. I hope I get to see more games in the same vein as this one in the future. Cheers.

I really agree. It uses its player interactivity completely. It's what games are supposed to be about.

Tbf, changes in the posters like changing/corrupting kanji or kana would be overly complex for the player and unfair to everyone who’s not japanese or speaking japanese.

When I first played it I thought they were going for something like that or changing the open hours on the dentist poster.

Only thing that got me was the ‘suit twins’ standing directly behind you when you passed them and turned around while still in the hallway .

Have I missed something? All I did was to run in a straight line and run in the opposite direction whenever something was in front of me. What a rip off.
