Temporary solution for the crash after launching the game

We are aware that some users have problem with the game crashing soon after the launch. We are currently working on a patch for this issue. There is a temporary solution that solves the problem for many users.

The following solution might solve the problem with the game crashing during splash screens:

verify integrity of the game cache first:
1. Launch Steam
2. Proceed to “Library”
3. Right click on “Lords of the Fallen”
4. Choose “Properties”
5. Proceed to “Local files” section
6. Choose “Verify integrity of game cache”

Then visit the amd or nvidia website:
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

and download and install the latest driver for your GPU. Afterwards, please open the game directory, open folder '_CommonRedist' then open 2 other folders- 'DirectX' and 'Jun2010' and install the DirectX by running 'DXSETUP'.

The game crashes on me while playing, mostly while im fighting, Starting the game is all oke.
Is this fix also going to help the crashes while playing?
Mostly using the special ability of "clawfinger"

I prefer to make a patch for it to store settings for graphics, because a lot of people want to turn off the gadget from Nvidia ...

OR and im just throwing this out there, they could actually focus on the crash issue and people can edit the .ini directly instead as a temp solution to the settings not being saved

Lords of the Fallen.exe stopped working. BETA Driver is installed (GTX780) i play with max settings and got 60fps, but every 5-15min game crash, du you have some tips for me? Plz, love the Game and want an LotF2 but... want run this Game first. i played so 12 hours. -.-´

got the game, wish i hadent already and this was during the tutorial fight at the start. exe stopped working....

Ive read the PCgamer review and heard that setting phyx to CPU instead of auto or gpu would fix this, seems thats wrong. Also turned off turbulence in the options.

I am a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot for buying this peice of ♥♥♥♥, especially after I had read all about its issues on here and on other sites.
