Dear newcomers and residents of Sunny Side Crossing,

It has been 3 months since our last update! We have been working tirelessly to create a cozy enjoyable game for all. So, here’s an update on what we’ve been working on since January 2025!

Patch up !

Revamped save load system
Updated character animations for various actions.
Updated dialogue popup
Adjusted display of debt task
Revamped battle system: turn order, stagger effect, expedition node and cruising
Adjusted battle animation speed
Added new ingredients and dishes
Adjusted dish price
Adjusted displayed merchants goods in bazaar

On development !

Update story up to Chapter 1.
Introduction of a helper system in the restaurant.
Add new environments.
Add an expanding backpack for adventure.
Add a new food tag system for ingredients and dishes.
Adjust food serve time.

Feedback

When I close the Settings menu, the game restarts without informing me. You can write some text to prepare the player for the restart. Or add a button "Save and Restart". I clicked on the "X" button (top right corner of the menu) and, normally, there will be no restart. I checked if the game crashed or if I clicked on another game to run. Add a simple text to inform the player. P.S. THE GAME IS SUPER SUPER STYLISH AND WITH GOOD GRAPHICS !...

Newest Build and New Year Roadmap; Let’s Celebrate!

We can’t believe half a month of January 2025 has passed! But still, as part of our excitement for welcoming 2025, we want to share our latest game update (v0.90) with you. Here’s what’s new:
New Addition:

Added Fiery Feather hunting aftermath cutscene
Added calendar on task

Patch Up:

Adjusted overlayed battle text feedback
Adjusted several character animations in battle and cutscene
Hunting tutorial adjustment
Adjusted several dialogues on cutscenes
Revamped bake icon feedback
Updated soup assets
Adjusted task menu

Bug Fixes:

No longer stuck on hunting fiery feather cutscene
Able to switch targets on battle cutscene
Rabbit monster will take damage when attacked
Several game environments match with cutscenes
The gauge will be filled when starting the grill minigame

We hope these updates make your time in Sunny Side Crossing even more enjoyable as we enjoy the new year together.

Your chance to try the game and help us build our village is here!
Following the excitement of last month's Cooking Festival, we've released the game prologue as a demo for everyone to try. And here's the great news—our demo is here to stay! You can now play it anytime and share your valuable feedback to help us improve.

Since then, we have updated our game based on all your precious feedback. Here are the latest updates for Sunny Side Crossing (v0.80).

Opening cutscene now is speed up and can be skipped.
Customer serving time is adjusted to accommodate players better.
Improve task UI/UX with direction hint in the map to better guide player.
Polished and rewrite fishing and hunting tutorial.
Restaurant and guild environment visual update.
Adding more of the characters expressions
