Black ghost that says what are you???

So I was exploring the island with the giant alien gun thing and it destroyed the sunbeam ship as it came in like normal, but this is the first time iv bothereed playing this story line so everything is new. First things first tho, iv not had a proper jump scare of anything from this game so far, until now. So after exploring the Island and watching the ship blow up and attempting to turn off the gun, I roamed the sea for a while looking for stuff. AND THEN OUT OF NOWHERE A BLACK GHOST THING WITH BLUE LIGHTS APPEARED IN FRONT OF ME. Yeah. Have no idea what it was. Scared the cr*p out of me. Then it spoke to me, said "What are you?" and then just disappeared. Anybody know? is it part of the sunbeam plotline? do i find it again?

thats the sea emperor. if you give it hatching enzymes it makes its babies release, causing you to be free of carar, allowing you to beat the game by activating the precursor gun and destroying the sunbeam, i dont understand why you are getting that vision now, because that was supposed to happen while you were in the precursor research building.

Not a ghost. A Telepathic vision. Appearently the last survivor is empathic to telepathy.

Second, the Sea Emporer or Emporer leviathan lives down at like 1500 Meters deep in the Emporer Prison, basically a giant alien base, in the active lava biome. It gives you 3 or 4 messages before you meet it. The second should be when you make it to the lost river disease reaserch fascility at like 700-800 meters. The voices were first implemented in the Voice of the deep update a month or two ago. Carefull going deeper though, as you will have to face Ghost leviathans and Sea Dragons as you go, not to mension tons of warpers and a few other hostiles.

This happened to me when i was encountering a warper, and the black 'ghost' sort of resembled a warper so i thought that warpers are telepathic now.
