Subnautica Platform Help
Yesterday, on April 11th, 2015, I downloaded Subnautica, but it says that "Subnautica is not available on my current Steam platform". I have no idea how to get the correct steam platform, as the message doesn't say what platform I need, or how to download that platform. If you could help me that would be great.

Top of my head I'd guess 32-bit vs. 64-bit issue? Are you using 64-bit version of Windows? Subnautica requires it.

I have figured out the problem, I was using an outdated computer. Thank you both for your help though. I have gotten Alright at the game.

Also William, it may be that your operating system does not have enought memory to run it, or a good enough graphics card. You can check that by looking at the specs of the game and your computer. It may also be that you do not have the latest version of steam (Maybe diabled auto-updates?) and you may have to manually update it.

Is your steam up to date? See if the Steam Platform needs an update. If not that then go to properties and set the launch options to minimum

To update steam (On PC) go to the top left and click 'Steam', then click 'Check for Steam Platform Update(s)'. To change properties go to subnautica in your library and secondary-click, then go to 'Properties' and click it. Open 'Launch Options' tab. Set all values to the lowest. If the game launches, go to options and bump the settings up to what you want. If it doesn't launch, come back to me

No. You have to buy a x64 bit version of windows and. Make sure your hardware supports it(most does anymore).
