And dude (I should just make a macro) - if you're playing in Experimental, stuff's gonna not work. Like, a lot of stuff. I could answer all of your questions individually but the overarching answer is - you're playing on Experimental.
If you have questions about stuff on Stable, fire away. If you choose to play in Experimental, just accept that stuff's gonna be weird, broken, missing.

It's processed from creepvine seed clusters. You could have just googled and found the answer on the Subnautica wiki[subnautica.wikia.com]. That's how I figured it out.
The last time I played, the compass (like the lubricant and seaglide) don't show up on the fabricator until you have all ingredients (or a key ingredients) in your inventory. At the time the compass required[subnautica.wikia.com] a computer chip and a piece of magnetite[subnautica.wikia.com], which is found in the stems of those huge purple jelly mushrooms in the cave below the coral reef area.
I assume that the missing crafting items on the Fabricator is a bug that will eventually be fixed. But I don't really know. I'm not happy about the compass requiring magnetite which IIRC is below the seamoth depth limit. Maybe that will be tweaked some day.
I understand you're not using it maliciously but it doesn't matter, take it down now.
