i cooked a fish on the workbench thingand the fish disappered after i cooked it how do i eat it ?

Bring up your data pad (TAb key) and left click on the fish you want to eat, you should cook & eat it straight away, food degrades now after its cooked. Not sure about uncooked. If you want to keep for later, cure it instead with salt.
