There would have to be some kind of early warning system - You've got 10 minutes get the Seamoth in the Cyclops (or risk it being tossed/dragged miles away), get the Cyclops nice and deep (or risk hull damage), slap some extra Titanium on the weakest parts of your base (or risk total base integrity failure)....
