Based on Mark's reactions to this game, I feel the first time he meets a Reaper will be the last time he plays the game.
I've been awating that moment ever since i watched video one... It's gonna be so funny to watch him freak out. Those things freak me out. XD
To be honest, I hadn't even looked at this game until Markiplier started posting videos. I've seen it pop up on the front page of Steam on occasion, but brushed it off due to a lack of desire to click the icon to learn more.

Now after watching three videos from Markiplier - and then doing a LOT more research on the game and watching videos of people building really awesome underwater structures and seeing some of what's possible - I'm very inclined to purchase the game and give it some of my gaming time.

EDIT: I will say that another factor in intially ignoring this game was the experiences I had with previous underwater games, like Depth, which I really didn't like at all. The thought of an "underwater Minecraft" just didn't turn me on - but now color me very intrigued. =)

If there are a few words to sum up Subnautica, Mark pegged it right on.

"I mean, there is something to enjoy about all this, and *REAL TERROR* WUAAAHAAA!!!"
When Mark saw the reefback, that was the best part. If he thinks that's bad, when he sees the Reaper he's going to have a heart attack.

When I saw the Reaper, I'M the one who had the heart attack. I'm fine so long as I can see the sea floor and actually find the game very relaxing when I can.... but that endless blue is terrifying. I always think there are horrible monsters lurking just outside of the fog...

AND THEN THE DEVS PUT A SEA MONSTER IN THE GAME!! OH GOD, MY PHOBIAS ARE BECOMING REAL!!! HIDE YOUR GRANDMOTHER! EAT YOUR CHILDREN BEFORE THE REAPER LEVIATHAN HAS A CHANCE TO!
Wait until the H2O update comes out. It's going to make the underwater lighting a lot more dramatic and a lot scarier in places.
The video of him playing and the quality of the graphics and gameplay is exactly why I purchased it yesterday, even though it wasn't on sale. :B1:

I love underwater games - in real life I enjoy snorkleling but can't stand deep water where I can't see anything which makes this game fun and freaky at the same time.

I also like the idea that I get to build my own sea base. I hope to see a lot of upgrades and improvements on that for the future.

?My hand is cramped from playing over 5 hours today! :steamsad:

oh, is that what's on the experimental build of the game already? Because, let me tell you...

didn't know i am still subscribed to this post xD
He might had set this game on my radar, but his "silly" gameplay was not what got me interested. Was an old (second season) lets play from SplatterCatGaming.
