Yes, Floaters will stick to almost anything. Including Peepers. :D
So, what to do when your pet Peeper tells you it wants a friend?

Stick it to a Flaoter and set them free! BFF's, whether they like it or not! Why did I do it? To see if I could. :D

That sure is impressive clicking, I mostly have a hard time catching peepers and you manage to stick a floater on it. Now that I have my statis gun I could try the same :D

Lol! And this was day 4 of a new game, been trying this for several games now and laughed myself silly when I finally got it to happen. xD

Just freeze it in place with the stasis riffle ;)
Still risky as I hate those things they keep eating my seamoth :(

Lol! That would require going further into the game, where I can't carry 5 Peepers in Quick Slots, since I'll be carrying other tools there by then. I have to have no oxygen tanks on in the first day or 2 to catch the darn Peepers, 5 of them. After the Aroura goe "KABOOM" has worked best, since they seem to be slightly stunned for a short time, near the Radiation zone. Hence, my lowered Health. I didn't bother doing anything but catching Peppers, making a few tanks so I could go find Floaters, nad get them both near a wall where I released the Flaoter but didn;t stick it to the wall, just RIGHT next to it. The hit 1 fast, trying to be in line with the Floater, sothe Peeper swims right into it, as soon as I right clicked it and let it go. Lol! It took til the 4th Peeper rapid released and swam right into the Floater as it was going sideways and up. And then...The Peeper Floater strats flying all over the place, I moved backwards and the water moved the Floater-Peeper. It rolls and bounces all over the place. Poor little bugger is probably still stuck to the Floater, being bounced around by Gasopods. Since that was the last place I saw it headed toward.

Doubt I could ever do this a second time. But... I may start a new game and see how a Stalker, preferribly temporarily tamed, reacts to having a Floater or Floaters stuck to it. I'll try it and if I can do it, I'll try to get good screenshots and video. The video of the poor Peeper was so all over the place, I needed Dramamine to watch it after recording it and going to edit. I decided I didn't need sued by people trying to watch with weak stomachs. =P

And Stasis would just take all the sport value out of the whole silliness of it. :D
