Fabricator unpowered in powered base
No matter what I do the fabricator just keep unpowered
any tip?

A single Solar Panel producing even a fraction of a unit of power per second will allow the lights and air to work.

For the Fabricator to function, there has to be at least 5 units of power AVAILABLE, in storage. Each item fabricated consumes 5 units of power, essentially instantly.

If you do not have 5 units of power yet, the Fabricator will be inert.

The basic lights and air function needs power to be ON and above a tiny minimum, but does not measurably consume power.

If there are NO other draws on the base's power, at a depth of ~175m it will take that Solar Panel ~75 seconds (+) to accumulate 5 units of energy. Every meter deeper will decrease the sunlight reaching the Panel, and reduce the rate of power accumulation.

Below ~220m the power production of a single Solar Panel will be so low that it won't keep the lights and air on. Below ~225m, the Solar Panel just doesn't function.

Screenshot. Where is it placed?
Near a large shipwreck, a part of Aurora, Grand Reef
Where the biome starts coming from the Escape pod
do you actually have power or is the power meter stuck on 0/xxx?

i usually have this issue when power demand is equal or greater than supply.

I have oxygen and light, but the fabricator keeps saying it has no power. When I'm creating it, it looks dark as if there's no light. Perhaps it is because of the proximity of a shipwreck where everything is off,

Kindly:
-Describe your structure: Which modules do you have? They also draw power
-At which depth have you built your base?
-What power source do you use
-Do you actually have the power level indicator on to of you screen?
-Are you charging batteries or vehicels? Are you running the water filtration unit??
-Have you tried moving you fabricator to a different part of your base?

Have you built an MVP: 1 Corridor, Power Source, fabricator
(so you know that the power source works at that depth, that power draw from other systems does not exceed production, that uncompleted building projects don't interfere)

I only have one building piece with a hatch, I did it just to explore that wreck and have oxygen nearby. I also wanted to make a beacon and needed the fabricator.
I have all the game achievements, I know the game well and I am playing it for the fourth time because it is addictive. It's not consumption, it's a bug.
Precisely what is powering your base?

Is not a base is a single tubular compartment. I added a solar panel and I have air and light, the fabricator is the only thing that does not work
Maybe I have not explained myself well. When I build the fabricator, the graphic looks dark, as if the room had no light. Is it bugged or can't build a fabricator in that area.
The dark appearance isn't a bug. It just looks like that in construction. You can build it on top of a lithium reinforcement and it will get power.
When you hover over it says "no power" or just can't be interacted with?
Have you tried moving it somewhere else?

Posting a screenshot might help a bit.
Like others said, post a screenshot please.
If you built the fabricator fully, completed the build, and it lets you access it, but isn't powered? I agree leaning towards a bug, but please show us a screenshot if you can.

The fabricator needs at least 5 units of power to work. You can be in a situation where the base is technically powered, but due to some other drain or a very slow charge, you don't have enough power to use the fabricator.

As was mentioned, a screenshot would be very helpful in assessing the issue.
