Seamoth Warp Module?
It teleports you at least several meters away from the current location you are in and at least these reaper ***holes will finally stop chasing and destroying my seamoths. Cool idea eh? :steamhappy:

Or just scan it quickly or between warps? Assuming it doesn't travel too far from you...
Outer Wilds Enjoyer 23. maj 2016 kl. 11:22
heh, i spend 30 minutes trying to scan stalker, but i mastered the evasion maneuvers perfectly while doing it

Since its a mobile support system and slower, wouldnt we want the big lumbering mothership (Cyclops) to warp so the little scout craft can do local exploring? I say put the Warp module on the Cyclops.

hey if the Devs want to give us both, I'm for it, if we can only choose one, I choose the lumbering carrier over the nimble fighter jet.

And end up stuck in a rock?
And when you finlly warped out, the area that was inthe rock is gone, so have fun in your water filled sub.

Were I a dev considering this, it would be a given that it would only work if the area to be warped into was big enough, and since the only way to tell would require surveying first, either actualy going there or sending smaller probes.

another problem is "How" would you plot where you are going to warp to?

Easy, the point where you're facing to.

And end up imbedded in the object you are pointing at?
Or at the edge of the map?

i think it should warp you a few meters forward or at the direction were you going

by the way, this module ability looks like Tracer warp ability from Overwatch game
Jhonis 3. juni 2016 kl. 8:13

Permioter Defence is way cooler and already in the game :P

I think I read somewhere the devs are planning on adding a warp device that you can build in your bases to warp you from one base to another and that you get the blueprints by scanning the warper.

Collision check? subnautica's technology is high enough to do those common sense things.
