is there a easy way to build above water?
I can do it with a lot of hasle and time consuming work but it's not very practicle.
For those wondering what I do is build above the water with vertical connecters and then I build those x coridors above each other and the first one I place a foundation and exit to it, place a foundation above that and exit to it. exc. THEN I start building the actual base next to it and when I get it to the correct hight I tear down the x fram. but it takes a lot of meterials.

So . . .anyone have a better way?

Why do you want to build above the water? Is there a special benefit or do you just like the look of it?

Well the only real reason is because I like to hang my seamoth bay over the water and go strait up with the sea moth and right before it falls back into the water the docking station grabs it. XD
also when you undock you get a cool little fall, the observation chamber gets a nice few from high up also as for benifites if you build your scanning station above water nothing will be able to take your drones while they are docked.

I personnally start with a Multipurpose Room on the sea floor, and stack them on top of each other one after the other. I then push the Lifepod towards the construction, and build a couple tiers higher out of the water. Next build a couple of corridors off the bottom tier, and ones of the top tier, and connect them via vertical connectors as access and support.

Lastly, I deconstruct every single Multipurpose Room in between, leaving quick transport between the below water and above water portions of the base.
