How do i get out of the aurora?
Is there some button to bring down the "elevator" thing?
I found a shaft underwater in the prawn room, it led me to a door past a fire that is blocked. Do i have to destroy the debris somehow?

You can move small debris and cargo boxes with the prop cannon.

If you mean the pathway underwater to the power cell room and then the doorway past that, you need to laser cut the door like you did to get into the locker room. If there is cargo crate debris in the way, then you use the propulsion cannon to move them.

I don't have a prop cannon yet. I jumped over the crates leading into this area. Jumped into the living quarters as well.

Solved the issue by teleporting using the console. Shame one has to resort to that. Kills the immersion.

Btw, there is no way to get back up that ramp thing close to the seamoth room?

If you mean the shaft with the stuck elevator, you can just walk around it on one side.

You dont have to teleport, that is what the propulsion cannon is for.

You go back to that square area you jump in that leads to the engine room and the prawn room and the seamoth room. Climb up the side on the ramp. It looks like you're standing on the rails

Yes, got that now. Thanks.
you don't have to teleport use the prop gun "BUT I DONT HAVE IT YET" go find it... its part of the "immersion"

Might need prop weaking if it's possible to hop inside without the prop cannon but is nearly impossible to get out without it. Just sayin.

Again, the Devs have already said that you are not supposed to be able to get into the Aurora without the Propulsion Cannon. The ability to hop over the crates is an oversight that will eventually be fixed.

To the people who tell players "You can just jump over the crates" - please stop - this will eventually become outdated, inaccurate information and right now it's basically an exploit that creates unintended negative consequences like the OP has experienced.

Eventually but not yet, I jumped over them yesterday without a problem.

Well... if it can be done people are going to do it. Just need to add the caviat that you might not get out again without the prop gun.
Teyore Nov 2, 2016 @ 9:11pm
I'm finding this kind of funny because I totally backtracked ALL the way through the aurora to get out again totally unaware that you could use the propulsion cannon to move the blockages. I am 88 hours into this game and I have never felt the need to build a propulsion gun even once... Well, now I know.

Kudos to you OP for asking questions and not just blindly backtracking
