So far, I haven't read anything about plans to bring this game to PS4, only Xbox One so far.
They're probably focusing on adding more content and optimisation before thinking about a PS4 release.
It is mentioned on the Trello roadmap, but has been moved to the Unknown section. So that's all we know right now.

So you PS4 players better hope it sells on XB1 :p
Well, you could always buy the PC version if you can run it. Controller support is being implemented anyways so you can just use the DS4 controller on PC.
But well, no couch gaming though :(
However, using my PS4 controller on PC is something i havent heard of before...you sure it works?
Yeah, I use my DS4 for games that play better with a controller.
Some games, like Batman Arkham Knight and the Witcher 3 have native DS4 support, others require a third party program to simulate a XBOX360 controller.
The program I use is InputMapper (https://inputmapper.com/)
Just download that, plugin your DS4, run the program and there you go, a DS4 working as an Xbox controller. Ofcourse all button prompts are going to be A, B, X, Y but it's easy to get used too.
Enjoy Subnautica in any case :)
I've also been burned by early access too, (Don't mention Spacebase DF-9! I mentioned it once, but I think I got away with it!) yet Subnautica is a rare example of EA done right. It's a great game even in its current EA state - Should some disaster happen and it'd never get completed (unlikely), it's still worth getting.
Unknown Worlds have been very transparent about the game's development - By opting into the Experimental branch you can easily check the current state that the game is in. Most of the mechanics and game world are in place, complete and functional - It's the late/end game stuff now which is still WIP. And it takes a long time for players to get that far. :)
Well then sony sucks :( i really want to play subnautica SO BAD... My computer just cant handle it... I have been waiting months....
