Fun. I wish they kept that Reaper spawn in the shallows by the crash site.
I crept over to it and thought I could see all around me. I hit F1 to see if I was in the Dunes yet (I wasn't), and only realized that I was hovering low over a berm - a ridge in the sandy bottom - when Mr Reaper hopped out from behind it like a Crabsnake on steroids and snatched me, tossing me back into the Plateu when he was done.
Between that encounter and the way you can always spot one seemingly the INSTANT you cross into the Mountains or Aurora's zone, it really convinced me they were excellent border guardians. Step even 1 meter over the biome border and BAM, Reaper attack. At least, the first thee times I braved those spaces that's how it was.
