Fish question (specificly peepers and Oculus the evolved pepper that lives in moushroom biomes)

I have 2 peepers 3 Oculus and a Eyeye in a aquarim (the flat kind not the aquarium that goes in the center of the MP room) and I wanted to breed them to use for my biological gen and to eat but theyve been in there for atleast 5 days and nothing is happening can someone tell me if i need the MP aquarium to breed or if certain fish can'y bread

Yes fish will only breed in the Alien Containment Tank (large aquarium).

Funny but true, the small aquarium is like a fish-based puppet show - you can put a dead fish in there, and it'll "swim". (or at least, it did 3-4 months ago, when I last tried)

I'm now gonna make 4 aquariums and put a ton of dead peepers in them

tran_fors thanks for telling me that method of saving your game or making a copy, just thiss morning my save wasn't even there but I had an extra save.

You don't have to scan the tank - it's available by default - you just have to find/scan the big room you put it in (Multi-Purpose Room).
